The 19-year-old daughter of late soul diva Whitney Houston is getting married to Nick Gordon, 22, who was brought up as her brother.

Bobbi Kristina, made the announcement Thursday in a promo for The Houstons: On Our Own — the reality show about how the singer’s family has been coping after her death — telling her stunned family about her upcoming nuptials, German news agency DPA reported.

Gordon was taken in by Houston as a teenager and brought up to be part of the family. But he and Kristina ditched their platonic relationship in the days after Houston’s death, much to the chagrin of others in the family.

In the clip from the reality show, the late star’s aunt Pat Houston, who was also her manager and best friend, gave a taste of the family’s reaction saying, “Engagement? This is unacceptable.”
