This one’s for the ladies. Four UAE comedians will get their best jokes on at the Dubai Ladies Club at the end of the month. The show, called Funny Girls, will be in English and Arabic and feature Mai Assaf, Ellen Gayle Harewood, Shaima Al Sayed and Dubai’s busiest female comedian Mina Liccione in a special only-for-women-by-women show on May 30.
“This is a very special show because it caters to women who normally wouldn’t attend a stand-up comedy show due to the venue or fear of the content being inappropriate,” organiser Dubomedy said.
