Richard Branson, Paris Hilton wow fans at Emirates Palace's Etoile night club

"Now that's how the truly famous do it," said a happy onlooker studying every inch of the picture just taken of her and Sir Richard Branson.
Strolling comfortably from Etoiles nightspot at Emirates Palace Hotel, Branson patiently posed with fans and guests - most of which were waiting for the arrival of Paris Hilton, who was already 30 minutes late.
"He doesn't need bodyguards and two hundred people running around after him to make him feel important," she added as she declared her night over having met a celebrity afterall. "He is one of the richest, most successful men on the planet and a true celebrity and yet he walks around like a normal human being."
In stark constrast more than 30 red barriers began cordoning areas in order to put adequate space between the heiress - in the capital to film a segment for her show Paris Hilton's Best Friend Forever Dubai - and her fans.

Branson, in town for a short trip to do business, enjoyed dinner at the hotel before heading to Etoile for a drink with friends.
No fuss, just smiles and chatty conversation made people of all nationalities feel at ease as they approached for a minute with the man behind the Virgin empire.
Emirati teenagers, who were waiting to get an autograph and picture with Hilton, who was now more than an hour overdue, were forced to leave as their mothers ordered them home.
As other supposed Hilton fans started to make the same call and leave the party she was due at, unlike Branson's arrival, the charade began.
Barriers were raised and security guards put in place with radios while many of her crew scurried about like mice to make sure everything was up to scratch.
Hilton walked her stridy walk with her head down, made her way down the red carpet and proceeded to remind people her father, Rick, was in the club. "My father's inside," she said as one photographer tried to get a few shots of her with the club owner.
A few quick questions were answered and Hilton disappeared inside leaving the rows of barriers and disappointed fans - about five people - who hoped for pictures and autographs in her wake.
"Lots of people have wanted to meet with my father and I and we are looking at prospects here," it's just a case of finding the right project.
Speaking about her time in Dubai Hilton said she was having "the best" time and couldn't wait to show her parents, who flew in on Sunday, the sights.
"I really wanted my dad to swim with the dolphins which he got the chance to do today. I also took them to the ski slope because I thought it was awesome."
Etoiles said the club night, which took place on Wednesday night, did not sell out.
