Melody makers in Dubai

Some of the coolest names in Bollywood are all set to rock Dubai on March 23.

Here's the line-up for Aap ka Suroor - Himesh Reshammiya Live at the Dubai Country Club: Music director Himesh Reshammiya, actor Emraan Hashmi, model and actress Udita Goswami, the first Indian Idol Abhijeet Sawant and the newest singing sensations Vineet and Himani.

The singer

Reshammiya has to his credit hits like Tere Naam, Humraaz, Bardaasht, Aitraaz etc. This will be his first live concert and he has a surprise in store for Dubai audiences: The premiere of his latest music video.

The actor

As for Emraan Hashmi, he's become a household name after his debut in Footpath. He's now all excited about his first show in Dubai and promises to have audiences screaming for more.

The actress

Then there's Udita Goswami, Bollywood's import from the modelling industry. She sizzles on screen and organisers are quite sure that she'll lose none of that on stage.

The idol

Abhijeet Sawant beat tens of thousands of hopefuls to become the very first Indian Idol. A naturally gifted singer, Sawant says he owes his success to his fans. Watch out for his first performance in Dubai.

New kids on the block

The two other new kids on the block are Vineet and Himani - finalists from Zee TV's Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2005.

The choreographer

That's not all. There's also to be a team of professional Bollywood dancers led by Pony Verma of Garam Masala fame.
