Haifa scores a hat-trick

Lebanese singer Haifa Wehbe's popularity in the Arab world is unquestionable.

And so when Wehbe was voted the most Popular Pop Star at the Murex d'or Awards ceremony, it came as no surprise for her fans. Wehbe has been voted the most popular singer of the country for the third time.

The award was chosen by an eminent jury as well as by fans in an online poll.

Meanwhile, Wehbe is recording children's song called Aklek Minein ya Batta. Lebanese singer Sabah sang the song, which was composed by Farid Al Atrach, in the 1960s.

Wehbe plans to shoot the music video in Lebanon with director Yehia Saade.

Wehbe, who is an actress too, will also start shooting the Egyptian variety show, Fawazir Ramadan, soon.
