It was a full house once again for the third installment of the JBR Comedy Café, which has taken the city by storm.

Mike Batayeh and Peter the Persian had more than 200 people rolling in the aisles for two hours of side-splitting comedy at Jumeirah Beach Residences' The Walk on Saturday night.

Hosted by Aron Kader of Axis of Evil fame, the café, organised and funded by the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF), has proved popular among people of all nationalities from the very beginning just three weeks ago.

Opening to a full house from January 31 and providing a platform for amateur comedians on week nights, the Comedy Café has seen stand-up Arab-American comedians such as Dean Obeidallah and Sugar Sammy in previous shows.

There's just one more week until the final show, where Kader will be the main act. He takes to the stage on February 14 from 9pm.

Tickets, priced Dh100, are available on the door but be warned, they sell out fast.
