Nineties singer Whigfield will perform at Societe nightclub in Dubai on April 6, organisers announced on Tuesday. Whigfield will go on after doors open at 9.30pm, and the club will close its doors at 3am.
Her 1994 hit Saturday Night broke the Guinness Book of World Records — Whigfield became the first artist to go straight to No 1 in the UK singles chart with a debut single. It sold over a million copies, and was the second bestselling single in the UK that year after Wet Wet Wet’s Love is All Around.
Entry is free for all. Table bookings, starting at Dh1,300 for groups of 4-30 people, are available to book.
