Dubai Around 1,907 people of different nationalities have embraced Islam in 2012 in the UAE, said an official from Dar Al Ber Society in Bur Dubai.
Rashid Salem Al Junaibi, Director of the Islamic Information Centre from Dar Al Ber Society said that the centre has issued documents of Islamic proclamation that were approved by the Department of Islamic Affairs in Dubai, for individuals who had embraced Islam. The centre has also distributed abayas and over 20,550 books and CDs introducing Islam to new converts over the last year.
