A lot of terrorist groups have claimed that they follow the true rules of the Quran and that of Prophet Mohammad [PBUH]. But is that really true? No, because I come from a Muslim family and throughout my life, I have been taught about peace and unity.

In Islam, like any other religion, it is forbidden to kill any innocent person. We are taught to spread peace and happiness to people, to help people and not to be violent. Similarly, our beloved Prophet Mohammad [PBUH[ used to always recommend non-violent ways to solve any situation.

These recent attacks in Paris, India, Yemen, Syria and Libya are not just shaming the Muslim community but are also a black spot on humanity.

Islam is a peaceful religion and nowhere is it written to kill innocent people. Terrorism has no religion and should not be associated with any belief.

After these attacks, it has become very difficult for the Muslim community as we are all suspected be terrorists. Whenever we travel to our homeland or elsewhere, there are special kind of security checks in airports, but we can also not blame countries for wanting to be safe and protective of their land.

I still do not understand what these extremists feel that they have achieved from attacks such as 9/11, Mumbai attacks, Paris and numerous of other attacks around the world. What are the actually trying to prove by killing, torturing and spreading fear in people? It just proves how little humanity there is left in people.
