Democratic presidential candidate and Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders felt the burn on social media after the hashtag #BernieLostMe trended on Twitter after a group of his supporters became violent at the Nevada Democratic Convention last weekend. Many of his supporters and delegates felt that they were denied their voice.

Despite endorsements from clebrities like Spike Lee and Killer Mike many Black voters are choosing not to back Sanders for various reasons. Many of them took to Twitter last week to share why they aren’t voting for Sanders.

#ImWithHer/BernieLostMe - As the 2016 Presidential primaries wind down, Hilary Clinton is emerging as the clear frontrunner while less voters appear to #FeelTheBern. Many said they support Clinton, with the hashtag #ImWithHer.

@Grumpy_Ol_Me: “#BernieLostMe when it became clear he was just running a smear campaign rather than advancing on his ideas.”

@leftleaningguy: “#BernieLostMe because he believes his poll numbers against Trump are relevant in some mythical election against him. #ImWithHer”

@CatDeSpira: “The moment Sanders praised Stalin, Castro, Chavez and created a cult-like following, I knew he had to be stopped. #BernieLostMe #ImWithHer”

@TheWriteInParty: “@BernieSanders Bernie’s twitter account is basically a carousel of all the things he’s gonna give for free when elected. #BernieLostMe”

@sherinelmahdy: “Seriously BS is so annoying and conning ppl out ofߒ?doesn’t care to waste all the where he’ll lose at the end #BernieLostMe #DropOutBernie”

@aroseblush: “#BernieLostMe with his insipid anger towards the Democratic Party, disdain for its policies attacks on Hillary

@sterlace_fran: “No leadership, no integrity no longer electible #BernieLostMe #DropOutBernie.”

However, Sanders did continue to have some support:

@DrJillStein: “The #BernieLostMe hashtag is another attempt to marginalize the majority of Americans who don’t support the politics of oligarchy.”

@zachhaller: “#BernieLostMe when he stopped fighting for truth & justice, gave up & went home to enjoy his 1% paycheck. Oh wait...”
