Can’t stop technology
I think that security needs to be very strict when it comes to these flying machines. Nobody can stop technology.
From Mr Naeem Ahmad
UAE
I agree with Mr Naeem Ahmad. No one can stop technology advancing and becoming part of our lives. It’s a force that has too much momentum to slow down. Best to have regulations.

Could be a weapon
I think that drones must be banned. It’s risky. Anyone could install a weapon on it. These days, we can’t be too careful.

No cameras
Would it be possible to ban mobile phone cameras on them? We don’t want people spying on others and invading their privacy.
From Ms Archana Sen
Sharjah
Don’t punish everyone
Well, I don’t think you can say an outright ‘no’ to cameras on drones. We’re not all bad people and it’s not fair to punish good people for the bad actions of others. I want one so that I can place my phone on it — this way, I can take videos while I’m outdoors, exploring the wilderness!
From Ms Kelly Blume

Restrictions are fine
It’s better if it’s restricted. I don’t think there’s a point in banning them.
From Ms U. Khashiyath

Stay off private property
I don’t think they should be sold to children and they shouldn’t be able to fly over private property. People should conduct their nature walks and photography trips outside other people’s backyards.
From Mr James Vansickle
Dubai
Just say no
I’m against drones for any purpose. They just aren’t safe.
From Mr Mohammad Haroon

Restricted to personal space
If they are for personal usage and can be used within one’s boundaries, then I think they would be okay to use. But, that will not usually be the case. There are high chances of intrusion into others’ personal space. It should be restricted.
From Mr Khalid Khan
UAE
Allow drones
I think drones should be allowed. People have personal cars, too. What’s the difference? Use responsibly.
From Mr Mohammad Azeem Sheriff
UAE
Restrictions for safety
No, they need to be restricted in order to keep us all safe.
From Ms Carel Baars
