I would appreciate it if Gulf News could assist me in resolving an issue with du. I had subscribed to the du Smart Plan for Dh150 per month and the benefits of the plan included 300 minutes of national or international calls per month.

However, a portion of my national and international calls were charged every month from March 2014, inspite of the fact that I had not used 300 minutes for most of those months. I contacted du’s customer care but I have not received a satisfactory answer as to why some calls have been charged.

A spokesperson from du responds:

In response to Mr Mulani’s query, we have explained to him that he was charged for calls placed to countries not included among the 175 international destinations listed in the plan he has subscribed to. The matter is resolved to Mr Mulani’s satisfaction.

 

Mr Mulani responds:

Yes, du contacted me and their explanation was to my satisfaction. Many thanks for the assistance.
