I agree with the reporter that no such incident has been reported so far, of hacking on planes, but now, this video has provided a chance for hackers to think over these lines (‘Facebook live: Are you aware of possible threats to aeroplanes you are travelling on?’, Gulf News, August 31). Maybe it will entice them to use this information in subversive activities in the aviation industry. I believe this sort of information must be confidential and must not be shared, as it wouldn’t do any good except create chaos or fear in the public. Instead, this information should remain for security forces and law enforcement agencies to curb terrorist activities before terrorists launch their plans.
