Sharjah: A husband struggled to keep his wife and his apparent lover from fighting each other in a Sharjah hospital after his wife discovered her husband was allegedly unfaithful, an official at Sharjah Police told Gulf News.
The Arab wife, who suspected her husband of cheating on her, chased him until he reached Al Qasimi hospital in Sharjah where she caught him with a woman she believed was his girlfriend in a medical ward.
The incident occurred on Monday evening, said the official.
The Arab woman was shocked when she saw her husband sitting with another woman in the hospital and a dust-up ensued between the two women.
The encounter, the official said, turned violent when the wife lost her temper and confronted her husband and his apparent Arab lover.
The Arab husband in his 40s, struggled to keep his wife calm in the public place.
The husband was visiting the other woman who was being treated for cardiac problems.
Hospital staff and police tried to solve the problem between the couple but the angry wife refused to listen to them and insisted to charge her husband and the woman.
Finally, the couple were referred to Wasit police station as the woman accused her husband of an illegal relationship with another woman.
The incident is under further investigation by the police.
