Cyclists will travel down Khalifa Al Mubarak Street before crossing over Shaikh Zayed Bridge and into Khalifa City, before making their way back through Yas Island.

Shaikh Khalifa Highway will be closed from 3.25 pm to 4.25pm as cyclists head towards Saadiyat Island.

Participants are then expected to take a detour to Reem Island by 4pm before heading towards Abu Dhabi Corniche, and will finally finish at Marina Mall by 5.15pm.

All road closure timings were estimated by relevant authorities.

On Saturday, roads in Al Ain will be closed for up to an hour at a time as the third stage of the Abu Dhabi Tour takes place.

Cyclists will start their race in Al Mutawaa at 12.10pm before cycling to Al Hili, as they then make their way down to Al Jimi. Participants will then make their way along Shakhbout bin Sultan Street and onto the E30.

As part of the route, cyclists will circle around Al Khaznah between 2.15pm and 4pm, before travelling down the E30, which will be closed to motorists until 4.30pm.

The roads are expected to re-open by 5.15pm as cyclists complete the tour with a hill climb at Jebel Hafeet.

The final stage, on Sunday October 23, 2016, will take place entirely on the F1 Yas Island circuit.
