Sharjah: Continuing its commitment to fostering the economic and professional development of the women of Sharjah and the UAE, the Sharjah Business Women Council (SWBC) took part in the second Arab-British Economic Forum on October 21 as well as the annual conference of the Arab International Women’s Forum (AIWF), which took place from October 22-24 in London.
Represented by its chairperson Ameera Bin Karam, SWBC made use of its participation in the two high level events to create awareness around the vital role that women are playing in the rapid growth of the economies of the region as well as to network and pursue avenues of cooperation and collaboration with the aim of forging opportunities for women in business in Sharjah and the UAE and encouraging the exchange of experience and expertise.
