Abu Dhabi: The General Pensions and Social Security Authority launched a system that supports pensioners who wish to go back to work.

The system, dubbed ‘Khebrati’ (Arabic for ‘my experience’), was launched as part of the UAE Innovation Week 2016. It can be accessed on gpssa.gov.ae/experts.

Mohammad Saif Al Hameli, acting director-general of GPSSA, said that the system lists available jobs in an easy way. He said that employers can register in the system and pensioners can upload their CV on the website.

Pensioners who are not registered on the website can browse the available jobs, and if they find a job that interests them, they can register on the website to directly interact with the employer, Al Hameli pointed out.

The information of registered users will be available for all employers. This will help provide unique pages for employers to search for employees, and a page for users seeking jobs.

The system aims to bolster opportunities for direct cooperation and coordination between pensioners and employers to achieve mutual benefits for both parties. The system will be especially helpful for employers who are looking for Emiratis with rich job experience and will provide a platform for pensioners seeking job opportunities.
