Dubai: The UIM, the world governing body for all powerboating activities, will host the 2nd Dubai International Powerboat Safety Symposium at the Dubai International Marine Club (DIMC) on March 5-7 next year in conjunction with the UAE Marine Sports Federation, DIMC, Dubai Sports Council and the Dubai Trade Center.
The symposium will be held at the DIMC Mina Seyahi and will take place along with the 21st Dubai International Boat Show.
It will consist of expert speakers, exhibits and displays that will support the theme of ‘Convene, Connect and Create’ to enhance safety in powerboat racing. There will be individual days dedicated to drivers, officials and venue safety, addressing all categories of racing.
