Dubai: Mike Massie scored a Gross 77 in the men's division to win the British Open Challenge held at the Abu Dhabi Golf Club by Sheraton last weekend.
Massie did just enough to win from Omar Thabit who ended up with a Gross 78.
In the men's Division Two (7-12), the winner was Chris Cole with fine Gross 76 from Sabah Aziz's score of 80, while in the men's Division Three (13-20), Abdullah Al Marzooqi was unstoppable with his Gross 87 on a countback from Ahmad Al Minhali's Gross 87.
In the men's Division Four (21-28), the winner was junior member Bilal Belaid with a Gross 90 from P. Selvaraj's Gross 98. In the ladies division, Jennifer Schumpp's Gross 84 was enough for a win against Sigrid Aziz's Gross 91 in Division I.
