Dubai: The National Anti-Doping Committee (Nado) and the UAE National Olympic Committee (UAE NOC) organised a course for enlightening athletes from the country on the various anti-doping programmes.
Held at the Leaders Qualification Centre in Al Ghusais, the course is being held to create awareness on the dangers and risks posed by the use of banned substances. The opening address was made by Brigadier-General Abdul Malik Jani, Director, National Olympic Academy, while Dr Ahmad Al Hashimi, Chairman, Nado presented a talk on banned substances and their misuse.
