Sharjah: Sharjah Police have launched an online auction of distinguished vehicle number plates.

Offering 150 distinguished car number plates for bidders until October 14, they will be auctioned through Emirates Auction website and applications. They include two- to five-digit number plates.

The distinguished car plate numbers from category 3 have set of unique numbers including 31, 56, 331, 556, 4444, 5556, 33330 and 55555.

Bidders can submit their bids on www.emiratesauction.com until October 14. Emirates Auction application is available on Apple Store and Google Play Store,

Participants can register online or by visiting one of the three branches of Emirates Auction in Souq Al Haraj, Al Ramtha and House of Justice in Sharjah, in addition to the other nine branches across the UAE.

Brigadier Saif Ziri Al Shamisi, Sharjah Police Commander-in-Chief, said the police are simplifying the auction process.

The winning bidders will be eligible to enter a raffle and win a new luxury Bentley, while anyone who downloads the Emirates Auction app from Apple Store or Google Play and then signs up on the website will be eligible to enter the raffle and win a new BMW.
