Dubai: President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan received an official invitation from Shaikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, to attend the 35th GCC summit to be hosted by Qatar on December 19.
The invitation was received by His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, while receiving Abdullah Bin Khaklifa Al Attiyah, Qatari Minister of State, on Saturday afternoon.
During the meeting that was attended by Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Shaikh Maktoum Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, and Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, Al Attiyah conveyed the greetings of Shaikh Tamim.
The ongoing summit preparations for the 35th GCC summit were discussed by both parties.
The meeting was also attended by Abdullah Mohammad Saeed Gobash, Minister of State, other ministers and senior officials.
