Umm Al Quwain: Over the course of 2015, the Saud Bin Rashid Al Mualla Charitable and Humanitarian Establishment provided more than Dh15 million in assistance to needy and low-income Emirati families, an official said on Wednesday.
The establishment’s assistance ranged from paying school and university fees totalling Dh2.4 million for a large number of students who are in need to paying treatment costs of Dh1.4 million for needy patients.
The establishment has also paid the rents of needy Emiratis and expats and utility bills of low-income families. It provided furniture and home appliances as well as aid to orphans.
