It is impossible to truly balance your work and personal lives in today’s world.

The feminist belief that working women can have it all is nothing but a false hope.

The financial independence gained by living a work-oriented  life is a fair price to pay for lesser family time.

Until managers change the perception that working for long hours leads to productivity, employees will never be able to balance their work and personal lives.

One should know how to balance his work life and personal life. Many work eight hours, but some work extra and get nothing extra for the hard work rendered. Some couples who have children have a tough time as they don’t know how to manage their time, which hampers their children as well. Children don’t have time for their parents and vice versa. Unlike in the past, homemakers have also started working to make both ends meet. So, when they come back home they are all tired and don’t have time for their family. But what can we do? We are all living in a rat race world, competing day and night as we all need to survive .This happens with some married couples who start raising children. In some families the husband might be the breadwinner while the wife will be the homemaker. When its too late the wife rings the husband enquiring where he is. When he reaches home the wife and kids must have slept. Similarly there are husbands and wives who both work long hours. They hardly get to see each other and the kids don’t know what to do and they deviate in another direction. Learn to strike the chord.
