True role models
I feel I am truly blessed to be living in Dubai under the great leadership of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum (‘Shaikh Mohammad’s gesture touches Swedish couple in distress,’ Gulf News, December 25). He is a real role model to the world. Such kindness and generosity is what defines Christmas and the true season of giving. This is the simplest way to explain what Christmas is all about. I hope Dubai continues its humanitarian gestures under its visionary leaders.

Faith in humanity
I had tears in my eyes while I was reading this story. Such stories give people hope to have faith in humanity. No matter what, there are always good people in the world looking out for you. I want to thank His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum for this generous gesture. I will remember him every time I pray.

This is a very sad story. But it’s nice too. I woke up and this was the first thing I read. I literally has tears in my eyes. I want to thank the leaders of this country for their generosity. Shaikh Mohammad has always guided his people to follow this path of humanity. Such acts of kindness give you hope. I wish the wife the best with all my heart.
