Hong Kong: Hong Kong's health authorities on Sunday continued to isolate 350 people in a downtown hotel after a Mexican visitor was confirmed to have the virus.

Hong Kong ordered a week-long quarantine of the downtown Metropark Hotel, where the Mexican tourist stayed, trapping guests and employees inside.

Officials in Hong Kong, China and Taiwan quickly tracked down passengers who had flown on the same flights as the Mexican and taxi drivers who drove him in Hong Kong, but they did not immediately detect new cases among them. The Mexican was in stable condition on Sunday.

As a precaution, China suspended all direct flights from Mexico and hospitalised 15 people from the Mexican's flight.
