Dubai: Vehicle owners who have been issued Dubai number plates of A, B and C codes now have the option of owning them under a new initiative launched by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA).
Customers have the option of owning the number plates after paying 25 per cent of their total value, and paying the rest in three instalments.
However, the payment period must not exceed the fiscal year or one calendar year since the first payment.
Plates offered under this initiative are those under codes A, B and C.
“This initiative is on offer at the RTA Head Office where individuals interested in owning their issued licensing plates would be entitled to trade in those plates through selling or buying them without running into legal issues,” said Sultan Al Marzouqi, director of Vehicle Licensing, RTA’s Licensing Agency.
To avail this offer, customers are required to apply at the Financial Services Office or call the RTA Head Office on 04-2902711.
