Ras Al Khaimah: A two-year-old boy has died after falling from a moving car in Ras Al Khaimah, according to the relatives of the toddler.
The incident took place in the Al Rams beach area at around 7.30pm on Sunday.
The toddler, who suffered head injuries, was transported to Saqr Hospital where he was pronounced dead, an official at the hospital told Gulf News.
According to authorities the boy's parents were driving the car, however it is still unknown how he fell from the moving vehicle.
The funeral prayer was held on Shaikh Rashid Mosque in the Al Rams area on Sunday night and the toddler was buried in Al Rams cemetery.
Ras Al Khaimah Police said they will release details of the incident on Monday.
