Dubai: The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai has announced a change of working hours for its customer happiness centres — Dnata centre in Deira and Dubai Festival City — as part of GDRFA’s endeavour to provide the best service to customers.

Major General Mohammad Ahmad Al Merri, Director General of GDRFA in Dubai, said that the official working hours at the external Customers Happiness Service Centres at Dnata and Dubai Festival City will be changed starting from April 2. Under the new timings, the centres will be open from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.

“We are keen to facilitate the public transactions to encourage the use of GDRFA smart services through its smart application or through its website. We are looking to speed up transactions to save time and effort for customers and to ease crowding,” Maj Gen Al Merri said.

He said that customers and members of the public can also use other channels of communication to contact GDRFA, including the Amer toll-free number (8005111), which operates 24/7, or through applications and social media accounts.
