SHABWA: The Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, is continuing its relief assistance to low-income families in the Shabwa Governorate in Yemen distributing 2,000 food baskets as part of its latest efforts to improve the living and economic conditions of people there.

Mohammed Saif Al Muhairi, head of the ERC team in Shabwa, said that they are keen to continue efforts in improving the lives of Yemenis and alleviate their suffering by reaching the largest number of beneficiaries as possible.

Local officials commended the ERC for the great role it plays in improving conditions and providing the necessary services to people in Shabwa, who have been experiencing difficulties following the Al Houthi militia coup in the country.
