Dubai: The Dubai Courts Department (DCD) continues to optimise its performance to meet the highest international standards and bring happiness to its employees, stakeholders and clients.

The DCD’s successive achievements are a reflection of its steady commitment to excellence and keen determination to bring happiness to its customers and staff, according to Taresh Eid Al Mansouri, the department’s director-general.

His comments came in light of DCD’s winning the ‘Happiest Work Environment 2016’ award of the 20th Dubai Government Excellence Programme (DGEP).

Winning the newly introduced category demonstrated the department’s unwavering effort to establish a work environment that promotes the spirit of innovation, creativity, happiness, and positivity, said Al Mansouri.

The move is in keeping with its corporate excellence standard, according to the director-general, and in line with the principles of the Fourth Generation of Government Excellence System.

“The ‘Happiest Work Environment 2016’ award shows our full compliance with the Fourth Generation of Government Excellence System and is a result of its high score in a human resource happiness survey conducted by DGEP. The award is an addition to DCD’s string of DGEP awards, including the ‘Best Financial Entity,’ the ‘Creative Department,’ and the ‘Creative Leader.’ Achieving excellence in our bid to create the happiest work environment is the result of our undivided commitment in keeping with the ‘Strategic Document 2016-2019.’ It makes the happiness of our employees, clients and stakeholders a top priority, a strategic goal, and a national responsibility under the directives of our wise leaders to value the happiness of all UAE nationals. Ultimately, all our efforts are aimed at making our vision of ‘internationally pioneering and distinguished courts’ a reality for us to deliver justice and ensure safety of our society,” he concluded.
