Dubai: Shaikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance, has earned high praise for his efforts to promote educational excellence in the UAE.
Hussain Ebrahim Al Hammadi, Minister of Education and Chairman of the board of trustees of the Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Distinguished Academic Performance, thanked Shaikh Hamdan on Friday as he highlighted the active partnership between the award and the Ministry of Education during a meeting held on Thursday at the headquarters of the award organisers in Dubai to discuss the new session of the award.
Al Hammadi recalled Shaikh Hamdan’s contribution to efforts to enhance the quality of education in the UAE besides promoting talent and innovation that complemented the Ministry of Education’s efforts to provide the best educational services.
Al Hammadi stressed that the Hamdan Award is one of the important strategic partners to the Ministry of Education with the two sides coordinating efforts in various programmes.
