Dubai: Etisalat is looking to recruit Emirati youth with high university grades who carry university degrees in electric engineering, computer science and finance, the telecommunication company announced at Careers UAE 2015.

Younis Abdul Aziz Al Nimr, Chief HR officer at etisalat, said the telecommunication company achieved 75 per cent Emiratisation in 2015 for high managerial jobs and 45 per cent Emiratisation of all jobs.

“We first start by participating in most career fairs in the country and visit universities to talk to them about our career opportunities as well as use social media platforms, “

Al Nimr said he requires Emirati youth with high grades because they have a higher probability of filling in the high tech jobs available correctly.

He said etisalat is looking to hire electric engineers as well as computer science and finance graduates, to name a few.

“We provide a competitive salary, decent life, and we invest in our employees’ development,” said Al Nimr when asked whether he faces competition from other companies, private or public.
