Ramallah: The Israeli forces on Sunday sealed off an Islamic club, a public welfare organisation and a kindergarten in the Arab neighbourhood of Silwan of occupied East Jerusalem under the pretext that those facilities are run by a terror organisation (Hamas).
Speaking to Gulf News, Ahmad Mustafa Sublaban, a political activist and expert in the Israeli colonial activities in occupied East Jerusalem, said that tens of Israeli military vehicles with hundreds of police and armed forces arrived in Silwan and closed down the three facilities.
The Jerusalem Police General Inspector claimed that the three facilities are run by Hamas. The Israeli army also arrested Khalil Al Abbasi, a member of the facilities’ administrative committee.
