Dubai: Seventeen Al Houthi militants were killed and a dozen injured in clashes with the resistance and the national army. Sky News Arabia said the resistance and national army blocked Al Houthis from entering Al Thabat and Al Jahmalia areas, among others, which resulted in the deaths of the 17 militants.

Meanwhile, the Saudi-led Arab coalition targeted Al Houthi reinforcements that arrived from Al Baidha’ at Aqbat Al Qantha’, an area that connects Shabwah and Al Bayda.

In Dhaleh, hundreds of resistance fighters spread across the mountains and placed barricades to block attacks from the Al Houthi militants in the areas of Maris, Qa’tabah and Dhaleh. The UAE’s

Al Khaleej newpaper on the other hand said a third batch of Sudani forces arrived in Aden via Al Zait port.

The Sudani forces comprised of 400 troops, who are set to fight alongside the coalition.

A source told Al Khaleej that the soldiers were ready and equipped to fulfil their duties in Aden.
