Heritage shows herald Eid in Dubai

Dubai: A series of events centred on UAE heritage were launched on Thursday in Al Shindagha and Hatta to mark Eid Al Adha.

The events are being held by the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing as part of its Eid Al Adha programme in Heritage and Diving Village in Al Shindagha and Hatta Village.

Khalid Ali Bin Ghuraib, director of Hatta Village, Shaikh Saeed House, and chairman of the heritage activities organising committee, said that there are 60 prizes that could be won by visiting any of the venues and participating in various contests. He said that visitors can also take part in quizzes featuring questions from UAE history.
