Dubai: Dubai Islamic Affairs Sunday received the Ahmad Al Tayer mosque located in Umm Suqeim 1.
Fahd Al Hajiri, Director Internal Monitoring and chairman of the Mosque receiving committee at the Department, said that the mosque’s construction and completion was financed by Omar Ahmad Al Tayer.
The mosque will be able to house 279 people, and includes a women’s prayer hall that’s able to house 50 people.
Al Hajiri added that the department has a specific mechanism in place for constructing and renovating mosques, and that interested philanthropists can coordinate with the services and engineering department.
