Dubai: The Rashid Paediatric Therapy Centre is holding a ceremony tomorrow to honour government institutes and organisations that have provided substantial support for the centre over the years.

The ceremony is part of a programme titled "Green Hands… a mission and inspiration" that will honour organisations that have worked hard to integrate these children into society, raise awareness and provide suitable services for children with special needs.

The ceremony will be held at the Burj Al Arab hotel.

"This is a gesture of gratitude to all the supporting ‘green hands' in the community for their generous assistance and support, whether it was financial or otherwise," said Abdul Rahman Tahboub, media manager at the Centre.

The ceremony will launch a book also titled Green Hands… a mission and inspiration that will illustrate these government institutes and organisations who have been supportive of the centre and its development since its establishment in 1994.

Some of the organisations to be honoured are Dubai Police, the Roads and Transport Authority and the Ministry of Health.
