Dubai: Global village will remain closed to public on Saturday to ensure their safety in light of the prevailing weather conditions in Dubai, tweets from the Security Committee and Dubai Police have announced.
"Global Village will not be opening its gates for public today, Saturday 21st February, due to the current weather conditions in Dubai and in order to assure the safety of everyone working at the it and visiting it. Doors will be opening back again tomorrow at 4pm," according to a message from the authorities.
The committee includes members from various Dubai Government gepartments that take part in securing events, such as Dubai Police, the Roads and Transportation Authority (RTA), Dubai Ambulances, the Civil Defence and Dubai Health Authority, to name a few.
