Police said that an Eritrean girl has been reported missing since Sunday evening. However, the mother reported the incident to the police on Monday at around 12.30pm.
The girl’s mother told police that the girl had gone with her family to Al Majaz Park on Buhairah Corniche in Sharjah and was last seen playing with children but she suddenly disappeared from the park. Many people helped her search for the girl in streets and nearby places but in vain.
The police have formed a team to investigate the incident of the girl who went missing under mysterious circumstances. The police have also issued a note to all police stations and hospitals to report any information that may help find the girl.
