Dubai: Four people have been arrested by London police in connection with the attack of three Emirati sisters at a hotel in the English capital.

According to a statement released by the London Metropolitan Police, officers executed three warrants at addresses in Islington on Tuesday evening.

Three men, aged 56, 34 and 32 were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. A woman, 31, was arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods.

All four are in custody at north London police stations.

The condition of the three Emirati sisters, who were bludgeoned in the bloody hammer attack at the London hotel on Sunday, remains critical and are under constant watch in an intensive care unit in a London hospital, according a fourth sister who was not part of the attack.

The family who was staying at the hotel with the victims have since been moved to an unidentified hotel to allow police to sift through any evidence that could still be lifted from the scene of the crime.
