Response sought

I am writing this to Gulf News as I have no other options left. I had filed a complaint with etisalat’s 101 service for my internet mailbox showing zero data available.

I could not receive any mails. This complaint was made on July 29.

Since then, I have made about 30 follow-up calls, only to be told that my complaint has been updated in their system and someone will soon look into it. I was told that if it was urgent, I can get a paid technician to visit my place, and I agreed to the charges.

The technician has not arrived till date.

I went to etisalat’s customer care office several times, only to be told that they cannot help me, and I have to call 101. But 101 now tells me they cannot do anything, and maybe I should try visiting an etisalat office.

After 42 days of running around, follow-ups, and visits to their office, I am still without any mail. My work and everything else has been affected and I cannot see anyone helping me.

Can Gulf News please help and publish my complaint, as nothing else seem to be effective? I have been waiting for almost two months for them to help me.

From Mr Raju L. Bhatia

Dubai

The management of etisalat responds:

Kindly note that the customer’s issue was resolved.

Mr Bhatia responds:

Yes, the issue has been solved. A person from etisalat called me to tell me that there was a technical error in their server and it took them more than two months to solve it. Now that the server is fixed, so is my problem.

I cannot thank Gulf News enough for taking up this matter with etisalat.
