Dangerous practices
Gulf News reader Jennifer Catoto took this picture in order to point out the dangerous practices by some drivers on the roads of Dubai. Catoto said: ‘I understand that it is very hot and people want to protect themselves from the sun in every way. But by putting the sunshade on the rear windshield, the driver was blocking his visibility and his car was carelessly swerving right and left as he wanted to see the cars behind him.’ He was not only risking his own life but the life of others around him, she said. Catoto added: ‘How many lives do we need to sacrifice before people learn to be defensive and not offensive drivers?’
