Even though heavy vehicles are prohibited in International City, Dubai, and signboards are erected at every entrance stating this, trailers and tankers are parked inside the area haphazardly.

They are a nuisance to all those who live here as they take up residents' parking spaces, and their constant coming and going is putting a strain on motorists by increasing traffic.

Also, as the number of trucks has increased, so has the number of bachelors in the area, making life more uncomfortable for families living here due to men loitering in the buildings.

This has been going on for about five months with no action from the authorities concerned.

I request the authorities to regularly monitor the area, prevent trucks from entering and fine anyone who violates the rules.
