I would like to bring to the attention of the concerned authorities in the emirate of Al Ain, the dangers in Green Mubazzarah Park, near Jebel Hafeet.

On December 31 we went to Al Ain with family, friends and relatives for a day trip, and while the adults were involved in barbecue activities in the park, I took the children to the nearby play area.

I was horrified to see that the play area was in a very bad shape, posing a high risk and potential threats to children who were playing there without any adult supervision.

I could even see some young ones getting hurt and asking for bandages to stop the bleeding from cuts caused by the poor condition of the play area.

One of the wooden planks in a passageway was broken, with sharp edges exposed to visitors. There were also nails sticking out from the wooden plank, which could cause harm to children who passed underneath the passageway.

Additionally, one side of a slide had completely broken off, exposing the rust and sharp metal pieces.

Development

While driving through Al Ain, we can see that there is a lot of progress and development — especially in terms of improved road conditions.

But I kindly request the concerned authorities to take action and rectify this situation in Green Mubazzarah Park, since it is a prominent tourist attraction.
