A lot of times we come across scenes on the roads in the UAE that are shocking. A few days ago, I happened across one such scene.
While commuting, I noticed this vehicle with two children dangerously leaning out the window. The female driver, who I’m assuming was their mother, had allowed the children to sit in the front seat, without any seat belts on.
Additionally, when we both stopped at a traffic signal, I noticed that she was continuously talking on her mobile phone without paying any attention to the children’s activities.
It is because of careless people like these that the rest of us have to suffer on the road. Why can’t they be more careful when it comes to their children? The least they can do is make sure their children are seated properly in the backseat of the vehicle and have their seat belts on. Their safety is most important!
