Dubai: A male passenger was ejected from a Saudi flight on Tuesday after he made improper remarks to a stewardess onboard.

Saudi Arabian Airlines flight SV 1055 was set to take off from Riyadh to head to Jeddah when a disturbance in the cabin forced the delay of the flight for more than an hour.

Security forces were brought to escort the passenger off the aircraft following a complaint by the stewardess, who is an Arab national, according to online Saudi news site Sabq.

The site did not mention the remarks that caused the offence.
