Dubai: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Tuesday received John X, Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch and All the East.
Shaikh Maktoum Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, was present.
Shaikh Mohammad emphasised that the UAE welcomes everyone who wants to live a happy, safe and secure life, whether it is people who are residing or investing in the UAE, everyone is equal under the law. John X expressed his heartfelt thanks to Shaikh Mohammad for facilities provided by the UAE for Christians, who are enjoying security and safety while living in the country and possess the freedom to practise their religion, like all other followers of different religions.
