Abu Dhabi: A new 24/7 service channel to receive customers’ complaints and inquiries has been launched by the Ministry of Interior, an official said on Saturday.

The service channel will operate through the instant messaging system, which will be directly connected to all service channels, including the ministry’s smart application MOI-UAE and its website.

Brigadier Engineer Hussain Ahmad Al Harithi, director-general of Electronics and Telecommunications Services at the Ministry of Interior, said that the ministry’s specialised cadres handled 92,113 e-chats from January to September 20 this year, with 31 seconds the average response time for each. The customers’ satisfaction recorded 90 per cent, he added.
