Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox are the opening act for Toto on the first night of the 14th Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival.

The YouTube stars (aka PMJ) perform before the US rock band on February 24, 2016. The quirky outfit boasts a rotating cast of musicians with larger-than-life voices, perfectly fit for the wistful blues.

With over 1.5 million online subscribers, PMJ are known for their old-school, jazzed-up renditions of trending pop songs that they upload weekly.

A sultry and mellowed out version of Meghan Trainor’s All About That Bass garnered them over 8 million views in March.

“Besides being a YouTube sensation, Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox was selected because their performance simply complements the headliner. These rotating collective of performers will bring a genre-busting, time-travelling musical experience, which Dubai has never seen before,” said Anthony Younes, co-founder and CEO of Chillout Productions, the organisers of the festival.

Toto and PMJ are the first two Jazz Festival acts to have been announced. Artists who will perform on the last two days will be confirmed over the coming months.
